The Clarice Wilson Garden Club is dedicated to promoting the love of gardening and serve our community through gardening with our annually recurring projects and our yearly president's projects.
All profits from our yearly fundraisers go towards these projects that enrich the Greenville community and the gardening lives of our members.
2025-2027
In keeping with President Heather Harley's theme, "Joyfully Planting A More Beautiful America," our garden club will focus on the JOY in gardening and in sharing that joy with our community.
Our president was inspired by a children's book in which the protagonist sprinkled wildflower seeds everywhere. in that spirit, our garden club will sprinkle education service and beauty throughout our community.
The 2025-2026 club year is Clarice Wilson Garden Club's 75th year as a federated club. President Heather Harley has made it her president's project to recreate our club's memorial garden to Clarice Wilson this year. We look forward to rededicating a worthy remembrance to this special lady. Our original Clarice Wilson Memorial Garden was lost due to the sale of the property it was on. The new garden will be on public property to ensure that will hopefully not happen again.
We will also create an educational butterfly garden at a local school as part of our Butterfly Celebration, a year long event which includes, community education and enjoyment of these beautiful pollinators
